Israeli settlements have expanded extensively during the past two decades. Since the Oslo negotiations in 1993, settlement populations have doubled to over half a million.

And while housing makes up just 3% of the settlements, another 40% consists of roads, military bases and security zones. Leading, of course, to broken and disconnected areas across the West Bank.
