Watch these huge ships crash into each other in Egypt's Suez Canal

“The Suez Canal is one of the world's most strategic waterways, facilitating much of the maritime trade between Europe and Asia," writes Reuters. But on Monday, traffic had to stop after two massive vessels collided. Watch the clip.

Luckily, no person was injured in the accident. But according to Slate, four containers flew into the canal. The magazine also writes that the ships belonged to the German-flagged MV Colombo Express (right) and the Singaporean-flagged MV Maersk Tanjong (left).
