Despite disappointed hopes, thousands of people, both men and women, still regularly attend a Friday prayers demonstration calling for reform in front of the presidential palace in Sana'a, the Yemeni capital.
At its height last year, over a hundred thousand people from every corner of the political spectrum would pray together in a display of unity against the regime. Its continuation is a sign of resilience in the face of stagnation and deadlock.
