Netanyahu: Israel must remain master of its fate

Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Monday that Israel must remains "master of its fate" as he opened talks with US President Barack Obama on issues including potential nuclear threats from Iran.

The Israeli leader was at the White House amid growing speculation about a possible Israeli strike on Iranian nuclear sites.

"My supreme responsibility as prime minister of Israel is to ensure that Israel remains the master of its fate," said Netanyahu in the Oval Office, as he thanked Obama for his support for Israel's right to self defense.
