Israeli soldier stabbed by Palestinian in Tel Aviv dies

Banner Icon An Israeli soldier stabbed by a Palestinian teenager at a Tel Aviv train station on Monday has died of his wounds, a spokesman at Tel-Hashomer hospital said.

The soldier was attacked by a 17-year-old from a West Bank refugee camp who fled the scene before being arrested, as unrest in Jerusalem spread across Israel and the Palestinian territory.

Hours later another Palestinian killed a woman and wounded two other people in another knife attack outside a settlement in the southern West Bank, before a security guard shot him dead.
