Brazil wants to strengthen ties and cooperation with the Arab world, Foreign Minister Antonio de Aguiar Patriota said on Wednesday at the start of a two-day visit to Tunisia.

"The message I bring from the Brazilian presidency is that of Brazil's commitment to side with the Arab world and its will to share its experience in matters of mutual interest," he told a press conference at the Tunisian foreign ministry.
"We have a common will to promote bilateral trade," Tunisian Foreign Minister Rafik Abdesselam added.
Bilateral trade is currently worth S481 million (364 million euros).
