iBRIDGES is a non-profit global movement for accelerating the innovation economy in Iran through education of high tech entrepreneurship. The three-day iBRIDGE Berlin Conference will bring together European, Middle Eastern, and American entrepreneurs with their counterparts from Iran to explore the role that a high tech entrepreneurial ecosystem can play in Iran’s economic development and diversification, while also offering tailored workshops for startups and tech entrepreneurs.
iBRIDGE Berlin is a sequel to iBRIDGE Berkeley, the innovative conference held at the University of California, Berkeley on Sept. 6, 2014. This sold-out event had 700+ attendees and 1,000 viewers via live stream (see www.iBRIDGES.org for details and video highlights).
Spread over the course of three days, iBridge Berlin will feature workshops, keynote speeches, panel discussions, Pitch Fests, and mixers for conference participants. While some keynotes and panels will focus on the key challenges and opportunities facing the budding Iranian ecosystem, 90+ workshops will be conducted on topics like business model innovation, design thinking, and seed and early stage financing from top tech leaders like David McClure (500 Startups), Hala Fadel (Leap Ventures), Ossama Hassanein (Rising Tide Fund), Dina Sherif (Ahead of the Curve), and many more.
