Netanyahu, “If you like it then you should put a border on it.” (Warning: smart & funny)

Banner Icon US-based advocacy group J Street is using Beyoncé lyrics to troll Benjamin Netanyahu on Twitter, reports British newspaper the Independent.

The organisation, which says it promotes peace in the Middle East, has published a cartoon of the Israeli Prime Minister singing Beyoncé’s hit song “Single Ladies,” whilst dancing besides two women with Israeli territory shaped leotards, marking the territories of the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

Underneath reads, in pink, “If you like it then you should put a border on it.”

The campaign is calling for the Israeli leader to propose a map defining Israeli borders and Palestinian territories. The organisation stated, “Defining Israel's borders would make the settlement issue – one of the most contentious in this conflict – moot,” and added, “It would give the Palestinians renewed hope in the diplomatic path and demonstrate to the world that peace is possible.”

The campaign comes days after Netanyahu delivered a speech at the United Nations where he equalised Hamas with IS.
